The Butler County Department of Health, inspected Phan Shin, 104 W. High St.,  June 20 and gave one critical and two non-critical violations. The critical violation included having canned food with damaged packaging. Other violations included using unapproved kitchen equipment and unclosed outdoor dumpster lids. All violations were corrected during the inspection. 

Subway, 5720 College Corner Pike, was inspected June 20, receiving three critical and seven non-critical violations. Violations included having an inaccessible hand sink, undated food, an inoperable sanitizing dispenser and dead pests. A follow-up inspection will take place June 23.
