On April 27, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum in Hamilton will host an Earth Day and International Sculpture Day event.
The works of local artists and student artists of the University of Cincinnati’s college of design, architecture, art, and planning, the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and Miami University, Hamilton Campus will be on display from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a student-created Opossum Scavenger Hunt at the pavilion, featuring artful renditions of the creatures.
An adult container gardening workshop will take place from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the amphitheater, where participants will learn how to grow native plants in small spaces. This hands-on experience will be led by Casey Sumner of Sustainable Sights Landscaping. Pre-registration is required and costs $20 for members and $30 for non-members. The fee includes park admission, tools and at least two native plants to take home.
Panel discussions will take place from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the gallery museum. Panelists include local sculptor Roscoe Wilson, painter Devan Horton and fiber artist Amber Ostazewski.

Pyramid Hill is a non-profit sculpture park that spans over 300 acres with a permanent collection of over 70 outdoor sculptures.
