Haiku competition theme highlights summer in Oxford

The Public Arts Commission of Oxford will accept entries for a haiku poetry competition. The theme of the competition is summer in Oxford.

The commission will select about a dozen haiku “through a blind jury process,” according to a city announcement. However, poets from Oxford will be given preference, according to the announcement.

The winners of the competition will have their poems displayed in local Oxford businesses in June and July.

Entries, due April 28, can be submitted here.
