Michelle Boone, a Miami University associate professor of biology, will host a talk on local wildlife at Lebanon Citizens National Bank, 30 W. Park Place on May 13 at 7:30 p.m.
She’ll discuss her lab’s work concerning the waning populations of Blanchard’s cricket frogs in Ohio. She and the lab at Miami have spent 10 years trying to discern the causes for fluctuations in cricket frog life, including farming practices. Boone will showcase their work.
