Between April 29 and May 5, Miami University Police took reports on cases of dating violence, domestic violence and a sexual offense. All were referred to other agencies for investigation.
The case of dating violence occurred on Apr. 29, the case of domestic violence on May 1 and the sexual offense occurred in Oxford on May 4.
From April 29 to May 5, police reported six fire alarms on Miami’s campus and three cases of theft. The first case of theft was at McFarland Hall, the second at Goggin Ice Center, and the third was at Etheridge Hall.
There were three traffic crashes. Two occurred on Apr. 29, one on Patterson Avenue, the other at King Library. The third occurred at Shriver Center on May 3.
Miami Police issued four alcohol violations and reported giving medical assistance at Thomson Hall and Scott Hall on May 3 and Young Hall and Armstrong Student Center on May 4.
