Hueston Woods staff members demonstrate how to tap maple trees and make syrup.

The 57th annual Oxford Maple Syrup Festival will return to Hueston Woods State Park March 4-5 and 11-12.

Events include an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hueston Woods Lodge; hayrides and guided hikes from the Hueston Woods Beach from noon to 4 p.m. which ends at the Hueston Woods Sugar House, where maple syrup products are also sold. The Hueston Woods Nature Center’s indoor and outdoor animal exhibits will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m during festival weekends.

The pancake breakfast prices will be announced soon. There is no charge for other festival events.
