Last week, Miami’s Men’s Basketball game against Defiance College was canceled because of  coronavirus. But, the virus issues were related to the Yellow Jacket program, so Miami will take the court this week. 

The Miami hockey team, along with the other seven teams in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, opened its season Dec. 2 in a “bubble,” in Omaha, Nebraska, where all conference games will be played through at least the first half of the season.  

Despite the Talawanda School District moving to remote learning for all middle and high school students, sports teams are still permitted to practice and compete.

Sunday, Dec. 6

Hockey at 8:35 p.m. vs University of Minnesota Duluth, in Omaha.

Women’s Basketball at 5:30 p.m. vs Valparaiso University, at home.
