From March 18 to 31, Miami University police received six fire alarms, five drug violations, two welfare checks and one medical assist. There were zero alcohol violations.
On Mar. 19, officers reported three drug violations in McBride Hall: one for possession of drugs, a drug paraphernalia offense, and a verbal warning.
Officers reported cases of stalking on Mar. 19, Mar. 20, and Mar. 30. There was an aggravated assault reported at the Cole Services Building on Mar. 21.
On Mar. 25, police took reports on a case of dating violence and of a sex offense, fondling, at Flower Hall. The same day, there was a case of assault and dating violence was reported having taken place at Hillcrest Hall.
On Chestnut Street on Mar. 28, police reported a case of receiving stolen property, a weapons violation, as well as a warrant service.
Between March 23 and March. 30, fire alarms went off six times at King Library.
