Between Oct. 16 and Oct. 22, Miami University Police Department responded to 56 incidents, this academic year’s the lowest week so far. They included nine fire alarms, six reports of property damage, four medical assists and four reports of theft.
Of the nine fire alarms, two occurred at Havighurst Hall on Oct. 18 at 3:20 a.m. and 3:50 a.m.
Property damage was reported across campus at several residence halls and academic buildings including the Psychology Building. Incidents reported at Hahne, Hiestand and Stanton halls remain open.
The four medical assists occurred at the Clinical Health Science & Wellness Building, Emerson Hall, Hahne Hall and on High Street.
A reported theft at Armstrong Student Center remains open, while three other incidents, including a theft from Farmer School of Business, were recorded as closed.
Police also issued four alcohol violations, two of which involved underaged persons, and two drug violations.
