Miami University Police Department responded to 53 total incidents between Oct. 9 and Oct. 15. Of these incidents, 10 were medical assists, eight were property damages and seven were fire alarms.
The medical assists were reported at multiple dorms across Miami University’s campus including Marcum Hall, Hillcrest Hall, Emerson Hall, Porter Hall and Thomson Hall. It also occurred at other parts of campus including McGuffey Museum, Maple Street, Millett Assembly Hall, Hughes Laboratories and two at the Clinical Health Science and Wellness Building.
The eight reported incidents of property damage occurred at five different spots on campus: Upham Hall, Millett Assembly Hall, two at Havighurst Hall and three at Emerson Hall.
The seven fire alarms were at McGuffey Museum, Peabody Hall, Flower Hall, Symmes Hall, King Library and two at Fisher Hall at Heritage Commons.
Of the 53 total incidents, 10 remain open for investigation. Open cases include two reports of stalking, two reports of theft and two reported sex offenses.
