The Luxembourgish Students at Miami (LUAM) will host a cooking demonstration for the Oxford community to get a taste of Luxembourg at the Oxford Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 16.

The group will serve kniddelen, which is a traditional Luxembourgish dumpling dish that can be compared with German spätzle or Italian  gnocchi. Kniddelen is made with just flour, eggs and milk.

Traditionally, it is boiled, then pan fried with bacon, but LUAM will also serve a vegetarian option. LUAM members and market chef Steve Townsend will cook the free samples for the community.

LUAM put on a similar cooking demonstration last fall.
