Farmers Market to feature a taste of Luxembourg


Luxembourgish students at Miami (LUAM) are partnering with the Oxford Farmers Market to organize a cooking demonstration on how to make traditional Luxembourgish dumplings called Kniddelen from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 17.

LUAM students and market chef Steve Townsend will cook free food for the community to enjoy a fun and safe cultural experience, according to the LUAM Facebook page. The dumplings will be served in a traditional bacon sauce or vegetable sauce for vegetarians.

There will also be pieces of Luxembourgish apple cake pre-packaged and labeled up for grabs.
