Bowling Green State University named Anna Moore, a 2020 graduate of Talawanda High School, to the distinguished Schmidthorst College of Business Peer Leader Program.

“I am pleased to accept Anna Moore into the 2021-2022 Peer Leader Program,” said Ray Braun, dean of the Schmidthorst College of Business.

Peer Leaders serve as mentors for incoming freshmen business students by sitting in on their Introduction to Business course. During their time in the classroom, Peer Leaders provide resources to freshmen and give them information on things such as how to get involved, schedule classes and navigate their first year of college. Peer Leaders reach out to their selected freshmen the summer before the fall semester starts.

While a student at Talawanda, Moore was very involved in school activities. She participated in the school’s color guard, the field hockey team, Ohio Model United Nations, the Drama Club, Show Choir and Women’s Ensemble.

The Schmidthorst College of Business is among the top 1% of business programs in the world and is ranked  the 34th best public undergraduate business program in the United States.
