Oxford Police Chief John Jones is one of several members of the department sporting pink badges in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Members of the Oxford Police Department purchased and are wearing pink police badges throughout October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

A portion of the initial cost of the badges goes to the Luna Cares Fund, which offers financial support for women undergoing cancer treatment and their families. Each officer who chooses to wear a pink badge will also contribute to the charity.

Seeing Oxford Police Department officers wearing the pink badges will not only stand out as a pop of color but will also draw attention to breast cancer research and prevention.
