Miami University’s Hefner Museum of Natural History, located in 100 Upham Hall, is opening a new gallery, “Coral Beliefs, Coral Lives,” which aims to fuse art, literature, science and business.
The gallery can first be viewed at a reception on April 10 at 5 p.m. featuring talks from Steve Sullivan, director of the Hefner Museum, Jill Krutick, a visual artist and Michele Navakas, professor of English at Miami.
According to Miami’s website, the Hefner Museum uses various galleries and interactive programs to teach all ages about animal biodiversity, conservation and ecology.
