Between March 5 and 12 Miami University Police Department responded to 64 incidents. These included 12 fire alarms at campus dorms and six medical assists. There were also three drug violations, four alcohol violations and one incident of hazing at a fraternity. The hazing case is still open.
On March 7, police responded to three related reports of assault, dating violence and strangulation from Hahne Hall. The cases are considered open.
On March 10, police responded to a report of assault and menacing on Poplar Street. There were also two charges of telecommunications harassment, one in Stonebridge Hall and one in Marcum Hall. Marcum also had one case of stalking.
On March 12, a fire was reported in the Miami natural areas at Ruder Preserve.
