On March 4, a burglary was reported on the 300-block of N. Poplar St. On Friday evening, the residents suspected that someone walked into their house and stole cash, a credit card and jewelry. There is no suspect.
On March 5, officers were dispatched on a report of an assault. The complainant had a warrant for his arrest through the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He was arrested and transferred into their custody.
There was another warrant arrest on March 5. Officers arrived at the trailer park on Country Club Drive for a man and woman yelling at each other. The man had a warrant out of Indiana. He was taken into custody.
On March 7, officers were dispatched to a business on High Street because an intoxicated woman passed out in the bathroom. She was 19 years old and had a fake ID. She was taken to McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital and charged with disorderly conduct, underage consumption and possession of a fake ID.
On March 7, there was a death from a suspected overdose.
On March 9, someone called the police when an unknown subject threw a bottle at a bar uptown. The complainant was been hit in the head with the bottle, causing injuries.
On March 8, officers arrived at a house on North Ridge Drive to an apparent burglary in process. There were signs of a forced entry through the back door of the residence. However, when the police searched the house, there was no one in it. The investigation is still ongoing.
