Miami Police responds to thefts, hazing and sex crimes

Between April 25 and May 3, the Miami University Police Department responded to a total of 132 reported incidents.

These included 16 medical assists, 21 fire alarms, and 10 thefts. Four cases of hazing were responded to as well.

Serious violations include two cases of rape, three cases of fondling, and two cases of stalking. Two sexual assault forensic exams were also issued.

Miami Police also reports eight cases of property damage, five drug violations, and nine total alcohol violations.
