Parks plan three egg hunts over Easter weekend

The Oxford Parks and Recreation Department will hold three egg hunts over Easter weekend at Oxford Community Park.

The “adult” egg hunt takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6 at the basketball courts at Oxford Community Park, 6801 Fairfield Road. Participants are required to be 18 years old or older. The eggs are filled with coupons and other prizes.

A “night” egg hunt takes place at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6 for fourth to eighth grade. Eggs are filled with candy and other surprises.

A “daytime” egg hunt will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8. This hunt is for ages up to third grade. Thousands of eggs are prepared and filled with candy.

The Easter bunny will be in attendance for photo opportunities.

All hunts are free with no registration required.
