The Community Blood Center will have a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 3 at the Oxford Presbyterian Church’s seminary building community room.

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the CBC will offer all donors who sign up between Feb. 27 and March 18 a green shamrock T-shirt that reads “Lucky Donor.”

The Food and Drug Administration periodically makes changes to the blood donor eligibility guidelines. All donors must provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID cards. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (or 16 years old with parental consent form available from www.givingblood.org), meet minimum weight guidelines and be in good physical health.
