The Oxford Police Department responded to calls about underage drinking, school fights and sexual assaults.

From Feb. 6 to Feb. 12, Oxford police responded to five reports of underage drinking. One student was unresponsive in an uptown bar and was transported to the hospital. 

On Feb. 10, police were called to Talawanda High School after an exchange in the boys’ bathroom escalated to a fight. No arrest was reported.

On Feb. 12, officers were called to McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital for a report about a sexual assault. According to the reports, the victim knew the suspect and wanted to press charges.
