Between Jan. 24 and Jan. 29, Oxford Police responded to reports of stalking, poisoning and theft.

Officers responded to a residence on W. Spring Street to take a harassment report Jan. 27. The victim states that her neighbor made unwelcome advances toward her. The neighbor messaged her on social media for several months and continued after she asked him to stop. The investigation is ongoing.

OPD officers and OFD personnel went to Parkview Arms Apartments Jan. 25 in response to a report that a child ingested bug spray. The child was transported to the hospital.

The department received a phone call from a Hawks Landing resident Jan. 24 for possible mail theft. The caller reported that an unidentified individual attempted to activate a credit card she applied for, but never received. There are no suspects at this time.
