Miami University’s daycare programs received a $778,000 4-year grant to subsidize childcare costs for qualifying students.

Students who are Pell Grant eligible can receive subsidies ranging from 40% to 90%, according to a press release from the university. Roughly 25 students per year utilize daycare subsidies across Miami University’s three campuses. 

The university’s daycare program were awarded funding through the U.S. Department of Education grant every four years since 2005.Miami University’s three daycare centers are: Campus Kids at Miami’s Hamilton campus in Schwarm Hall, Mini University daycare on Miami’s Oxford campus at 401 Western College Drive, and the Atrium YMCA & Children’s Center in Middletown through a partnership with the YMCA.
