Three of the nine restaurants inspected by the Butler County General Health District since Aug. 25 were cited with critical health code violations.

The Oxford restaurants where the inspector found no critical violations were Corner Grill and Drinkery, 12 E. East Park; Doughby’s, 36 W. High St.; Oxford Sushi King, 37 E. High St.; Subway, 17 E. High St.; and Oxford Coffee Company, 21 Lynn Ave Suite 102.

Skyline Chili, 1 E. High St., inspected on Aug. 31, received one critical violation and two non-critical violations. An inspector found a critical violation for an insufficient air gap between the flood rim and the water supply inlet.

SDS Pizza, 7 E. Chestnut St., inspected on Aug. 25, received three critical violations and 10 non-critical violations, including one critical repeat violation for unclean food-contact surfaces. The other two critical violations were given for the presence of live insects and for storing food without a proper date marking.

United Dairy Farmers, 101 W. High St., inspected on Aug. 25, received two critical violations and four non-critical violations. The two critical violations were given for unclean food-contact surfaces and for not holding food at the proper temperature. Both critical violations were corrected during the initial inspection.
