Volunteers from the Oxford Museum Association will show how previous generations did their laundry from noon to 4 p.m. at Doty Homestead on July 9 and 10.

Participants will gain experience washing, wringing, and hanging clothes at this free program. Doty Homestead, which is leased by the Oxford Museum Association from Hueston Woods State Park, is located at 6924 Brown Road.

Future events at the homestead this summer include ice cream churning on July 16 and 17.
