Thread Up Oxford hosts trick-or-treat bag-making booth

Thread Up Oxford is running a do-it-yourself trick-or-treat bag-making booth from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Oxford Farmer’s Market.

Market patrons can find the activity at the Sprouts booth. People can recycle pillowcases using stencils, fabric paint, puffy paint, glitter glue, and more.

Anyone who wishes to donate white, orange, or black pillowcases before the event can contact Shana Rosenberg at [email protected].

Thread Up Oxford is a nonprofit organization devoted to reducing textile waste in the Oxford community. They have hosted several clothing swaps and offered tips on how to lead a more sustainable clothing lifestyle.
