The Oxford Motorcycle Rally drew about 20 bikers to the parking lot of LaRosa’s on a cold, cloudy day to show off their custom bikes. There was a mix of Harley-Davidsons, Japanese sport bikes, old classics and newer bikes for the rally on Oct. 28.
The bikes were lined up next to each other in a row as the bikers stood around the lot admiring each other’s bikes, swapping bike stories and sharing advice, all while enjoying some pizza and drinks. Some of the bikers wore leather jackets and Harley gear. Some bikers and LaRosa’s staff sported the lightning blue Oxford Motorcycle Rally t-shirts to support the event’s cause, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
The event raised $500 from t-shirts and donations for Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital, said Dan Retherford, the event organizer.
“I think we did pretty good, especially on a cold, wet miserable October day,” he said. “I just want to thank everyone for their support. We learned a lot and next year’s rally will be bigger and better than ever!”
