The Miami University Police Department (MUPD) took reports for 50 incidents between Oct. 30 and Nov. 5.
Of these, 11 were fire alarms, seven were medical assists, five were thefts, four were alcohol violations and four were welfare checks.
Flower Hall and Hepburn Hall each experienced two fire alarms, while there were seven alarms at various residence halls.
Seven medical assists were reported. One was at the Farmer School of Business, one at Miami’s recreation center and the remaining five were at residential halls and academic buildings.
Thefts were reported at Clawson Hall, Dodds Hall, Havighurst Hall, Tappan Hall and Miami’s recreation center. Only the theft reported at Havighurst Hall remains open.
Four alcohol violations were reported, one of which resulted in a verbal warning.
Police were contacted to check the welfare of individuals at Anderson Hall, Edwards Lot, Porter Hall and Stoddard Hall.
