Between Oct. 23 and Oct. 31, Miami University Police Department responded to 70 incidents. These included 14 fire alarms, 11 medical assists and 10 property damages.
Of the 14 fire alarms, four occurred at Peabody Hall.
Police responded to 11 medical assists on Miami’s campus, two of which occurred at the recreational sports center. One happened at 6:34 p.m. on Oct. 27 and the other at 7:22 p.m. on Oct. 30.
All but one of the 10 reported property damage incidents took place in residence halls. Emerson Hall was the site of three incidents.
Miami Police also conducted four forensic exams at the police services center on Oct. 26. These exams are conducted in order to gather physical evidence of an assault.
Welfare checks were issued by police across campus at several residence halls including Havighurst, Withrow, Maccracken and Stoddard. Two were also issued in Edwards lot and Kumler Chapel.
Police also issued three alcohol violations and two alcohol violation warnings.
