Between Sept. 25 and Oct. 1, incidents reported by Miami University police dropped to 70 from the previous week’s high of 88. Fire alarms constituted over one-fifth of these reports. Miami police also responded to eight medical assists, five incidents of property damage and four incidents of stalking.
Four of the 15 fire alarms reported occurred at Fisher Hall, while the remaining took place throughout campus. Two additional alarms occurred at Miami’s Art Museum and at the Psychology Building.
All eight medical assists were reported at various residence halls and along Campus Avenue and Spring Street.
Two of the five incidents of property damage occurred at Flower Hall. The remaining occurred at Hahne Hall, Hamilton Hall and at Maplestreet Station. All of these incidents are closed, except for the one at Hahne Hall.
Of the four stalking incidents, one occurred in Oxford and the remainder occurred on campus. All of these remain open.
