Talawanda fall sports wrapped up last week strong with wins in every single sport, according to statistics posted to the Southwest Ohio Conference website.
Talawanda Football scored its second win of the season against Northwest 44-12 on Sept. 29. The team’s record is now 2-5.
Girls volleyball came through this week with three wins. On Sept. 26, the team defeated Northwest 25-4, 25-5 and 25-3. On Sept 28, Talawanda defeated New Richmond 25-21 and 25-19 and also won against Indian Hill 25-29 and 25-25 on the same day. The team’s record is 15-2.
Girls soccer defeated Northwest 3-0 on Sept. 26. This is the team’s fourth win of the season making its record 4-5.
Boys soccer earned its third win of the season on Sept. 27 against Franklin County 8-0. The team’s record is now 3-9.
Girls tennis won against Middletown 5-0 on Sept. 26. The team’s record is now 8-10.
The cross country team raced in Centerville at the Friday Night Lights meet on Sept. 30. For the boys, Max Bixler came in 14th in the championship 5000 meter run finals. For the girls championship 5000 meter run finals, Lucia Rodbro finished in 8th.
Boys golf played at an Invitational in Monroe on Sept. 30, placing fourth. However, the team’s dual tournament record is 12-0.
