Bellman is the new editor for the Oxford Observer. She has taught journalism for 22 years at Miami University and has previously been the design/web editor for the OO.

Bellman worked as a journalist in the Greater Cincinnati area, including a stint as editor at Community Press newspapers where she edited two weekly newspapers. She also worked as a reporter, copy editor and designer before coming to Miami in 2002.

She has a master’s degree in scientific and technical communication from Miami  and is the mom of two Miami graduates.
