Day-by-day, sections of the red and white steel frame are cut loose and lowered into the parking lot behind William’s Hall, off of Oak Street. The building was closed as a safety precaution during the deconstruction.

In early December a crane goes up alongside the tower and first removed the 54-foot antenna formerly used by WPTO TV.
