Miami Western Center virtually hosts authors of award-winning reparations book

Miami University’s Western Center for Social Impact and Innovation will host the authors of the award-winning book “From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the 21st Century” for a virtual talk at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 5. 

William Darity Jr. is a Samuel DuBois Cook professor of public policy, African and African American studies, and economics, and is the founding director of the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University.

A. Kirsten Mullen is a folklorist and the founder of Artefactual, an arts-consulting practice, and Carolina Circuit Writers, a literary consortium that brings expressive writers of color to the Carolinas.

The talk is part of the Western College Legacy Seminar Series. It is free and open to the public. Those who wish to attend can register for the event here
