Butler County United Way and the Butler County Educational Service Center have partnered for their annual Adopt a Family for the Holidays program.

Sponsors will purchase two toys, a basic need item and a clothing item. All gifts should be unwrapped and returned to BCESC by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14.

To sponsor a local family, contact Emily White, program supervisor at BCESC, at [email protected], or Amanda Burns, director of campaigns and volunteers for BCUW, at [email protected].

There are about 200 families who need to be “adopted.” Once a family is assigned to a donor, the donor will receive a wish list so that they know what to shop for.

“We try to make the process as simple as possible for our generous contributors,” White said. “Our families for this year have already been identified; we just need our generous Butler County residents to step forward to select a family and brighten their holiday.”
