The Greater Oxford Community Foundation announced $143,005 in local grants from its August 2021 application cycle. 

The foundation has three cycles of grant applications each year. All applications are reviewed and considered by the foundation’s board of trustees. Applications must include information such as projected budget details, a summary of the agency’s history, an explanation of relation to the agency’s mission, etc. 

The grant recipients from the August application cycle, announced Oct. 8, are:  

  1. MetroParks of Butler County, $30,000 for Mill Race Preserve Access Improvements
  2. Oxford Seniors, $2,500 for Community Adult Day Service
  3. Center for Community Revitalization, $15,00 for Oxford Cottage Community
  4. Family Resources Center, $3,190 for a new front door and a printer
  5. Talawanda Schools, $3,000 for Facility Dog Host
  6. Miami University, $3,665 for Miami University Montgomery Trip
  7. Talawanda Schools, $700 for Talawanda Cross Country
  8. Talawanda Schools, $1,200 for Talawanda Breakfast Club at Kramer Elementary
  9. Catholic Charities of Southwest Ohio, $1,200 for the Parent Project
  10. Building Campaign, $80,750 for Three Valley Conservation Trust

The next grant application cycle deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
