The Oxford Community Arts Center presents “The Little Mermaid,” 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, in the center’s Brant Ballroom, 10 S. College Ave. The show is the first in the center’s Magic Carpet Theatre Series.

The show takes a magical trip under the sea, recounting the story of an ordinary mermaid with a sense of adventure. The show helps viewers discover how life is full of important choices.

The show is recommended for grades K-3, but all ages are welcome. Tickets are $7 for children 12 and under and $10 for adults 13 and older. The expected run time is approximately one hour.
