Hueston Woods Arts & Crafts Fair returns this weekend

The 55th Annual Hueston Woods Arts & Crafts Fair returns for the first time in over a year this weekend. The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13. The fair has been on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Around 5o exhibitors from across the Midwest will present their wares this weekend. Crafts vary from glass and metalwork to fine jewelry and furniture to weaving, basketry and pottery. Two food trucks, Nick’s BBQ and Django Western Taco, will be available for refreshments on both days.

“It’s sort of getting our foot back into the water after being away for a full year,” Oxford Museum Association President Bob Carmean said. “I think people are anxious and ready to get out, so we’re looking forward to it. We’re open for business… and glad that we’re able to return to normal, open-air, outdoor events.”

The fair will take place at Pioneer Farm, 6924 Brown Road, Oxford. Tickets are $4 per adult, while children 12 and under are free. All proceeds will go to various programs and outreach of the Oxford Museum Association.
