McCullough-Hyde seeks entries for annual art show

The Auxiliary of McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital/TriHealth is now taking submissions for its annual juried art show that begins Oct. 8 and provides art for display in the halls of the hospital.

Through donations, the auxiliary may also purchase some of the art for permanent display after the show.

The Auxiliary of McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital hosts a juried art show each year that provides art throughout the halls of the hospital. Through donations, they are also able to purchase some of the art for the hospital’s permanent collection.

Entrants must be at least 18 years old and live within 100 miles of Oxford or have a personal connection to the hospital.

Each entrant may submit up to three pieces of work. Applicants for all fine art media are accepted including mixed media, glass, fabric, metal, original digital, or wood suitable for hanging.

All items must be for sale and must be the work of the entering artist. Artists whose work is selected for the show must agree to have their work on display for one year.

Applications to enter the show must be in JPEG format and emailed to [email protected]. Entries should be accompanied with the signed hard copy of the entry form and must include a statement of up to 75 words explaining the intent, content and inspiration of the work, along with its price and contact information.

The deadline for entry is Aug. 13, and the completed works must be delivered to the hospital on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28.
