Oxford’s Interfaith Center hosts, “Neepwantiinki: Learning from Each Other,” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18. The virtual event brings together Miami University and the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma to discuss their relationship and impact with each other.

“Neepwantiinki” is the Myaamia word that means “learning from each other,” according to the event’s description. Miami University and the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma have used this phrase for years to describe their reciprocal relationship.

The event features Kara Strass, the director of Miami Tribe Relations at the Myaamia Center, 351 E. Spring St.
