Daylight saving time starts Sunday

The time has come for dinners before dusk as we spring forward into daylight saving time, this Sunday, March 14. The change officially happens at 2 a.m. Sunday. Be sure to adjust your clocks so you don’t miss your 8 a.m. meeting or class Monday morning.

Turn your clocks one hour forward before bed Saturday night and brew an extra cup of coffee to cope with the hour of sleep you’ll have lost. Daylight saving time lasts until everyone turns their clocks back the first Sunday in November.

Though many smartphones and computers automatically sync with the time change, other clocks may not, so plan accordingly.
