Miami graduate Jenell Walton is Cincinnati Public Radio’s new vice president of content.

Miami University graduate Jenell Walton is Cincinnati Public Radio’s new vice president of content.

In her new role, which begins March 1, Walton will oversee all programming on classical music station WGUC-FM and non-news programming on WVXU-FM. 

Miami’s NPR station, WMUB, entered into a Licensed Management Agreement with WVXU to provide simulcast of WVXU on its station, 88.5 WMUB. Walton worked as an anchor at WMUB while she was a mass communication student at Miami.

A native of Cincinnati, Walton previously worked as a reporter and anchor on WCPO-TV and worked in posts with Cincinnati Metro, the Urban League, and the Cincinnati USA Convention and Visitors Bureau.
