After closing in mid-November to remodel, Oxford’s Spring Street Treats plans its grand reopening Saturday, Feb. 20, said owners and Miami mergers Amy and Allen Ansorg.

Spring Street Treats, located at 321 W. Spring St., rotates between seasonal soft serve flavors, all of which are lactose, gluten, cholesterol and trans-fat free, according to its official website. Ansorg said the first set of flavors will include pistachio, salted caramel coffee (which can be swirled with vanilla), yellow cake batter, and strawberry.

Ice cream is not the only treat to enjoy here. Savory snack lovers can also order warm soft pretzels and nachos.

The store’s new hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week for the entire season. Customers have the option of walking into the shop to order or staying warm in the car in the drive-thru.

Oxford is expected to continue experiencing low temperatures over the next couple of weeks, but is it ever too cold for ice cream?
