Get ready for Galentine’s Day by creating a special arrangement with professional floral designers from Blooms of Oxford and Bella Rose, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Church Street Social (formerly known as Books & Brews), 107 E. Church St.

Tickets are $30, which includes the cost of flowers, greens, a vase, instructions and your first glass of wine. 

Galentine’s Day, according to Dictionary.com, is celebrated Feb. 13, the day before Valentine’s Day, honoring platonic friendship, usually with a female friend who sticks by you when times are tough and fickle romantic infatuation has passed on.
