Here are the Talawanda High School sporting events for Oct. 16 through Oct. 29:

Girls soccer completed its season Tuesday, Oct. 20 with a 6-0 loss to Oak Hills in the first round of the state tournament. Girls volleyball also wrapped up their season in the first round of the state tournament, dropping three sets to Western Brown. 

Boys soccer lost to Sycamore in the second round of the state tournament Thursday, Oct. 22, ending their season. 

The Talawanda football team lost on Friday, Oct. 16, to Kings 42-7 in the first round of the state tournament, ending the team’s season with a 3-5 regular season record.

Cross Country at District Meet, 10 a.m. at Cedarville University.
