TOPSS in-person shopping is delayed

Talawanda Oxford Pantry and Social Services (TOPSS) has postponed the re-opening of free, in-person shopping. Due to the high number of positive cases in Oxford, customers do not want to leave their homes. For the time being, TOPSS will continue to deliver instead of re-opening to shoppers, Director Ann Fuehrer said.

A problem with the pantry’s refrigeration units also contributed to the delay in reopening, Fuehrer said. These units are being repaired, she said. While there is no date set for the re-opening, Fuehrer said she hopes it will be within a few weeks.
