Political yard signs are being stolen around the city, according to the Oxford Police Department (OPD).

Numerous thefts have been reported over the past several weeks, as the fall election cycle has gotten underway. The thief or thieves appear to be non-partisan, as signs supporting various candidates of different parties have been taken, police said in a recent Facebook post. 

Residents who believe their signs have been stolen are asked to file a crime report with the OPD by visiting its website or calling a dispatcher at (513) 524-5240.
