The Track and Field season is currently in the home stretch for the Talawanda Brave. With three regular season meets left, the Brave aims to continue its strong 2025 season.
On the boys side, the team has really found its stride at different distance events. In the 800 Meter Run, senior Bryson Fears leads all Southwestern Ohio Conference runners with a time of 1.57.63.
In the 1,600 Meter Run, three Brave runners lead the pack. Freshman Fletcher Rodbro has the top time in the conference at 4.32.60. Junior Garrison Franks isn’t far behind with a time of 4.32.94 and Fears has a time of 4.33.90.
In the 400 and 3200 meter relay, Talawanda as a team finished in first in the SWOC.
The girls team has similarly found success in the distance events. In the 800, 1600 and 3200, junior Adriana Luking is the conference’s fastest runner.
In the 100 high hurdles, the freshman tandem of Samantha Warholek and Mili Malohn are both on top and have sub 18 second times.
In the 3,200 meter relay, the Brave came in first with a 9.54.64 time.
Talawanda’s next meet will be Thursday, May 1 at Wayne High School.
