Melody Miao, 14-year-old Talawanda sophomore, makes Talawanda proud with her academic achievements. She placed second in the Korean National Math Competition April 9 at the University of Cincinnati, and placed third at the Rotary District 6670 Four-Way Test Speech Competition March 30.
Melody not only excels at academic competitions but also follows her artistic and musical talents. She’s wise beyond her years and offers advice to her peers to find their niche interest and turn it into a life passion.
