The Oxford Lane Library is hosting a “plogging” event 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. April 26 at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park in Uptown Oxford.
Plogging is “a new sustainable initiative invented in Sweden, which combines jogging with caring for the environment (picking up litter + jogging),” according to the Lane Library website.
Prizes are available. Registration is required and closes 9 a.m. April 26. Anyone interested can register online.
